Prime Minister chairs meeting of NDA Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi today  chaired a meeting of NDA Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers. He reaffirmed the commitment to furthering national progress and empowering the poor and downtrodden.

The Prime Minister posted on X:

“Chaired a meeting of NDA Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers. We had extensive discussions on aspects of good governance and ways to improve people’s lives. Our alliance is committed to furthering national progress and empowering the poor and downtrodden.”

The Prime Minister remarked that yesterday marked a historic occasion, as it was the first time since independence that the oath ceremony in Jammu and Kashmir was conducted in accordance with the Indian Constitution. Previously, such ceremonies were held under the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir. Amit Shah proposed that in 2025, there will be a discussion on the suppression of democracy during the Emergency period. Additionally, next year will see the commemoration of the 150th anniversary of Birsa Munda and Sardar Patel, as well as the centenary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s birth. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu highlighted the advancements being made towards a self-reliant India, while Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh emphasized the progress achieved under the Digital India initiative.
